Osheen's Fan Fictions: KHUMAARI- The Nocturnal Beast

As per the ancient myth

"The part of the day when black dominates n the reflecting globe shine high above in full circle the Beast arises.

Untamed n merciless, unhearing to screams n pleads, indiscriminate to wrinkled n new born. His eyes only radiate death while he hunts his prey.

To end the circle of life, he viciously rips off the throat. The raw flesh is to satiate his hunger n crimson to quench the blood lust. Above everything, fear in the eyes of victim is his real food, the solace of his heart.

Decades of war n gore. Umpteen warriors sacrificed, corpse turned soil, to fight the unbeatable.

Eventually with the favour of almighty, despite being invincible, the beast was defeated n incarcerated to burn in the kingdom of Satan.
Goodness triumphed n humanity prevailed."

Apparently, there are no such complications in the realms of modern world after all it was what's just called a myth.

The modern beings of 21st century have no correlation with the ancient tell-tales. We have our own goodness n evil to fight with. Busy with our own duties n responsibility towards friends, family n enemies, we are too preoccupied to notice the nonexistent around us.

The stories were all false
There was no hunger for mankind, no killing
No war, no gore

Doubtlessly,
The beast never existed

Perhaps,
He was never sent to hell
What if the war was never won?

May be the fearsome creature is still between us, just like us.
Hidden yet in front, so akin to pick any differentiation
The feral n contemporary worlds, same yet dissimilar

Is there something to be afraid of? Centuries have passed n the said beast never came to substantiate his existence.
Seemingly the world would remain the same n myth always a falsehood.

But, what if,
The nocturnal beast arose again, to take what's rightfully his?
Would the focus of his interest be able to defend itself against his brutality?
Or, will the power from the skies would make the beast succumb for the very first time?
