BEZUBA, PART 11

~BEZUBA~

~PART 11~

Mujhse dur jane ke bare me sochna bhi mat tum. Tum yahi rahogi, issi ghar me, meri ankho ke saame, samjhi tum? She stood still. SAMJHI TUM?

Geet shook her head. *Mujhe mat batayi mujhe kya karna hai aur kya nai, kyuki aap mujhe apna kuch nai maante par mai… aapko* She came forward n signed slowly now so he understood clearly what she wanted to say. *Mai aapko apna pati maanti hu. Aap dariye mat mujhe badle me kuch nahi chahiye. Bas mujhse aapki care karne ka haq mat chiniye, kyuki wo mai wo nai kar paogi.* Tentatively she reached forward to touch his face but he stepped back. She understood he needed space n left instantly from there.

Geet shivered lightly coming to her room, she hardly answered people back. Somehow she had said-signed-all those things to Maan n was relieved that she did otherwise the regret would have remained forever. A little weight lifted off her. She had wanted to confess this part of her feelings since the time she had gotten here. And finally she had collected enough guts to tell him.

Although, her feelings didn’t remain same for very long. Around midnight Geet came to standstill in front of Maan’s bedroom door. It always happened with her. She blabbered all madness then mulled n cursed herself for it later. Don’t know what all she said n how much he understood.

BEZUBA, PART 10

~PART 10~

After Maan left Geet went to prepare Dadimaa’s breakfast in main mansion before the folks there woke up i.e. Divya n Annie. Then she went to Dadimaa n fed her with her hands after that they talked. Afternoon a designer came n took Geet’s measures n asked what kind of clothes she wanted. Geet was hesitant but she told whatever she was asked for. Later, she wandered the big garden of mansion. It was beautiful with cropped, lush carpet of green grass n all kind of flowers. She loved it n could stay there for hours staring at the beautiful roses. The smell both calmed n fascinated her when her life was just crumbling and sinking into a baseless pit. She had a feeling it was just going to get worse. Somehow she always knew and her sixth sense was never wrong.

It went on like this for a whole week. Same routine, same days, same nights. To Geet it seemed time had stopped. Nothing happened. Like she was trapped in a parallel universe and what hurt most was Maan being devotionally aloof. She talked-signed n wrote-n he just listened sometimes awarded her with a nod or hmm. He made her feel like a disturbance. Like he didn’t want to do anything with her n she was just a nuisance to him.

Geet was never one to be bound. In the confines of her family traditions n odium, she had found her independence. Many a times, she snuck from the house and had gotten few friends in village animals, trees, children and old people who were alone just like her. But here only Dadimaa showed some interest n even she couldn’t talk much because of her condition. The garden seemed no more than her extended prison.

She tried to be happy, as much as she could. She had learned, no matter what happened if you adjusted n accepted things n kept yourself happy, you would be fine. But that wasn’t working, not anymore. Back in Hosiyaarpur she was more like a servant n long back had stopped expecting but here… god, that new start theory had messed up with her mind royally. Coming this away from Hosiyaarpur n her old life, with Maan, she had started hoping.

KHUMAARI
The Nocturnal Beast

Thanks for so many wishes... I am a bit late but happy new year to all sweetiesStar. Here is a super duper big update just for uBig smile EnjoyWink

Part 14
Possession

NOTE: No color coding that's time taking wid the length of updates

Hidden from human eyes, in the eastern jungles, the brightness shinned. Amid darkness, the Den twinkled with the glow of celebration, its insides warm and alive with exhilaration.

Weres filtered in and out of the grand hall. Banquets of delicious food presented on oversized tables. Laughs n talks flowed between adults while little children ran here n there with yummy feasts in hands. Lights were practically blinding n chaos all around overwhelming.

You look positively dazed. Avinaya said to his brother's mate.

Geet looked at the guy, who though dressed casually, had nothing casual about him. He was tall with short curly hairs falling on his forehead. The face was magnetic and he held the same air as Maan yet he smiled much often. Youngest of the three brothers, to Geet, he seemed a bit less of a threatening force. For some reason Garv had maintained his distance from her when she wasn't the one who had scared the shit out him the other night.

Maan, on other hand, was on some kind of red alert. No matter where he was-either talking to someone or just standing in corner-his eyes remained on her, glued n unwavering. As if he was just waiting for someone to pounce on her so that he could get some action.

BEZUBA, PART 9

~BEZUBA~

NOTE: I know its all hell confusing. There are many questions in your minds. Why is Geet accepting everything? What does Maan think? And so on… It must seem awkward n weird but everything has a relevant reason behind it. The story is fast paced n more “happening than explanation” at the moment. As thing will proceed all would be rightly explained and revealed.

~PART 9~

Aap kabhi aisa mat sochiyega ke Maan aapko apne se kam samajhte hai. Wo aise nai hai. Par wo sabse alag hai. Agar bhagwan ne aap dono ko milwaya hai toh unhone kuch sochke aisa kia hoga. Aap bilkul pareshan mat hoiye. Geet nodded amazed. The conversation was so easy, difficult at times but not because of the content of talks but her inability to speak. Still, it just took two-three trials every time for Dadimaa to understand what she wanted to say with her hands. After the sady-sady talks they went ahead to talk about other things n by the time Geet came out of Dadimaa’s room after she fell asleep it was noon. Geet went downstairs n was hungry. There were servants everywhere but no one asked her for food which was fine with her, not like she had grown up like a princess.

Somewhere she had heard that even if the family members’ had drifted apart there shouldn’t be two separate kitchens; that alienated them all the more. So Geet went into the kitchen of main mansion to cook something for herself.

Geet was way too hungry so she decided to make something that was easy n fast. Methi aalo parathe seemed good. She cooked some extra in case someone else wanted to eat n then had her lunch in the kitchen itself.

Maan’s sister, Annie, came there. Tum yahan kya kar rahi ho? Ah, tumse toh baat bhi nai kar sakte. Pata nai bhai ne kya sochke tumse shadi ki. Nakul… Nakul. At her call Nakul came rushing. Mera lunch laga do mujhe bahar jana hai. Annie went out n Nakul served lunch on the dining table. Geet wasn’t that hurt, she had heard a lot worse back home n understood it must be difficult for Annie to accept someone who had appeared out of the blues. Maybe she should go for a peace treaty with the other girl n they could become friends, Geet thought. She kept a plate of fresh, hot parathe before Annie then wrote on her note pad. *Yeh maine banaya hai. Tum chaho toh kha sakti ho.*

Annie made a face- Chee… Tumhe ek baar ki baat samajh nai aati hai kya? Kitni besharam ho tum yaar. Aur tumhe kya lagta mai yeh khaogi. Tumne soch bhi kaise lia ke mai tumhare haath se bani hui koi cheez khaogi. Bloody villager.

Annie stood up, her face dripping with anger n left without eating. Geet didn’t know what all the shouting was about. She had just offered simple parathe. If earlier she wasn’t hurt, now she was. *Baba ji agar mai bol sakti na toh isse acche se batati* She made a puppy face. *ya shayad nai, par aise chup-chap sunti toh nai* Geet turned around to go back to outhouse.

Maan’s mother was standing there. Tumhari wajah se meri beti khana khaye bina chali gai. Pata nai tumne Maan pe kya jaadu kia hai par iska matlab yeh nai ke hum bhi tumhare behkawe me aa jayenge. Tum jaisi ladkiyo ki aukaat mai acche se jaanti hu. Isslie behtar hoga tum humse dur raho samjhi. Tum jaise logo ki shakal bhi dekhna mai pasand nai karti. Ab mera muh kya dekh rai ho jao yahan se… Geet ran out with tears in eyes n plate in hands.

At nightfall, Maan came back. How was he going to face her after what he had done in morning? Running was so easy n now facing her was tough. Losing control was so easy, stopping was so damn tough. She had been soft, amazing n so giving, trapped in the cage of his body. He had forgotten the pain in his muscles n heart, just crazy desire had surrounded him, its velvety claws clutching and probing. His shaft had ached to be enveloped as her little pink nipple had strained before his very eyes. And she had reacted to him like- Shit, he shouldn’t be thinking about that. It was forbidden n criminal. And he hated himself to the core for the incident in morning. He was a sick bastard n deserved a leash around neck.

Maan didn’t trust himself. No, after the morning his insides were a jumbled mush of clashing voices. As everything in him shouted of some kind of release he wanted to end it all. But years had passed n there was no escape. He had saved her to his doom. Agony had increased a thousand fold with her face in front of him each second n slowly he was losing, going mad. He still couldn’t believe what he did? How could he? It must be the years of near celibacy. But how can the thing that horrified him, didn’t let him sleep at nights… could envelop him so overpoweringly.

When he entered the outhouse aroma of fresh food wafted from the kitchen. Geet came out, an apron around her front and smile on face. She removed his coat her fingers sliding along his arms. Maan groaned inwardly. *Aap fresh ho jayiye mai khana lagati hu.* She wrote on her pad n went into the kitchen leaving him dumbfounded. Maan changed n came back. Geet served the dinner. *Kitchen me toh pata nai kya-kya tha, mujhe jo samajh aya maine bana dia.* Maan nodded. The food was delicious n she had made it. While he ate silently, Geet kept eating n talking, sometimes writing on pad n sometimes signing through her hands. She told him about her day, that she talked to Dadimaa, watched TV, saw the gardens n all, n that she liked the place very much.

It is time. Maan thought when after the dinner Geet went to keep their plates. As she came back he didn’t waste time before speaking. I had asked the servants to give you a separate room. The one beside mine so you would have your space. And I would tell Nakul to bring whatever you want in kitchen. If you want anything else ask me. He left n Geet went into her room. It was just next to Maan’s. At least she was not that far from him. Yet, he was drifting further n further away n she didn’t even get a chance to hold onto him.

Next morning Maan called his PA. I want clothes. I mean a whole wardrobe. Maan didn’t knew what all to get. Last time when he had asked for clothes that nightdress had landed to his mortification. Better not use his brain. Send a designer or something… Yeah, at outhouse…. Hmm…. Good. I will be there in an hour. Maan hung up n breakfast was prepared for him, obviously by Geet. She was glowing n chirrupy like always.

Somehow she always knew and her sixth sense was never wrong.
