BEAUTIFULLY FLAWED, PART 26

BEAUTIFULLY FLAWED

Part 26

Excuse me.

The girl he was calling hurried at the words. Then too she had been running from him. Maan didn’t know the reason why she was going away without giving him a small glance. As far as he knew there was nothing wrong he did. Honestly, they had met only once and then she had forgotten her book with him.

And what a mistake it had been. He had caressed the cover umpteen times, read the pages over and over again, every time imagining her innocent, child-like face. Whenever he thought about her-which was often-the whole college faded in background n she shinned in multicolor. She certainly had done something to him because despite of not being with him she always was there.

Maan had no intension to give the book back but, sadly, it served as a good excuse to meet n get to know her. Girls were ready to throw themselves at him n if he was lucky she might let him touch her. Perhaps then he wouldn’t be that fascinated by her.

Getting into the college was no hard task for him. As soon as Maan caught her sight outside the library his whole body buzzed with instant awareness which wasn’t exactly sexual. It was like his arid body had felt the first moist breeze informing of the impending rain. In her simplicity she was magnetic enough to make him see stars.

Hey. He told. She was in some kind of rush although. Ignoring his call she hurried ahead. Maan called her several times to no response. She only walked faster, almost ran. He pushed random people aside in her wake. Nobody could outrun Maan Singh Khurana, particularly the one who had robbed him of peace n sleep.

After much contemplation n headache he had finally decided to come here to see her. If only she knew how mad she made him. Well, he was going to tell her today.

She was going too fast when he grabbed her wrist pulling her into a dark, abandoned classroom which was more scary with all light off n windows closed then lightened. Her big specs fell on the floor n before she could retrieve them Maan pinned her to the door. She was so small n today too she was wearing some kind of oversized kurti n jeans. Her hands were thin in his hold. Her fingers grazed his face as she couldn’t see much in dark n without specs. His eyes closed. He could swear she was the softest thing that had touched him. As she pressed his lower lip a small moan erupted low in his throat.

I am sorry. She told startled taking her hand back. That voice made his stomach jump and he instantly envisioned her in his bed, beneath him, touching him… so gently, shouting his name in that soft, feminine voice. And, he had thought there was nothing sexual about her. Well, to him she was seduction uncapped without much effort on her part. I thought you were someone else. Is… there some…thing I can help you… with?

Do you always stammer? Maan asked just to hear more of her.

Noo..o.

He smiled and kept staring at her face. She wriggled uncomfortably. You… you are too close.

I know, that’s the plan. His husky voice must have scared her more.

I have a… class, you know?

College time is over.

She blinked in attempts to see well. Do I know you?

I am the guy you bumped into that day.

Who? I mean… I bump into loads of people.

The one with whom you left your Romeo n Juliet.

Oh… I had bee..n looking for that.

Maan could tell she didn’t remember much. I came to give it back.

Where is it? She asked nervously. Maan touched her face n she shrank back. To find her so terrified just burned the need in him to protect her. A single girl n a tornado of previously unfelt emotions. Getting physically attracted was common but feeling things that he had no acquaintance with was a red light.

May I know why you were running from me?

I was not running… from you. I thought you were Sriyash.

Who?

My classmate. I thought he saw me n was following. He bothers… me.

He flirts with you n you don’t like him?

Oh no! He… bullies me. I mean… makes fun of me, a bit.

Really? Maan frowned. I can get him rusticated.

Her unfocused eyes widened. You are a pro…fessor. I didn’t know. I am… so… sorry, si…rrrr.

Hey… shh… shh. Maan cupped her face n she stopped her rant breathing heavy. There were tears in her chocolaty eyes. He had never seen such awesome eyes before n hated the tears in them. I am not a professor.

Then who are you and what do you want from me?

The whole of you. The answer that his mind screamed almost got him off balance.

I certainly don’t want these tears in your eyes. About that scumbag, don’t let him come at you. You are beautiful. I have never seen a girl more amazing, I swear.

Tha… thanks. Red hue tinted her cheeks. His insides urged him to kiss them but that would have been too much for her. She was like a delicate flower; in no way he desired to scare her. She deserved all the tending in world. If you won’t mind can I know your name?

Consider me your Romeo. For some indefinite reason he didn’t tell her his real name. Maybe, because this time he didn’t wish his identity to interfere in between. Girls behaved weird when they came to know who he was. He wanted this one for the person he was n not for the guy who was his father’s son.

At his playful tone she smiled prettily, two adorable indentations dimpling her cheeks. It was spellbinding how her moods changed rapidly similar to a kid’s.

I love that book. She told shyly.

Me too, after meeting you. I was never a fan of romantic classics and thought they were impracticable but I read it n… fell in love. Wisely, she didn’t question ‘with whom’, the book or... Maan stepped back tucking a wild lock of her hair at the back of her ear. He picked her book n specs up. What is your name?

Geet. Without a thought she told him n her instant trust was frightening.

You shouldn’t trust people so fast.

Oh. She looked down embarrassed. You just seemed nice, I mean, sounded nice so thought I… could trust you.

Yes, you can. He loved how she talked. Her words were low n sweet, playing the strings of his heart. His heart was thumping so loud, he could practically hear it. Can you hear it too?

Wha..t? Is… someone coming?

No no.

I should go.

Why?

My warden is very strict. I won’t be allowed entry after the curfew hours. So, can I… go?

She was asking for permission? Did she still think him to be a Prof? Whatever it was she was adorable n he could never deny any of her demands. You can go. He left way n she slipped out. Her expressions were like a thief. A very terrified thief. She hurried with little steps planting glasses over her nose. In minutes she disappeared from sight never looking back.

Maan released a sigh. He was going to miss her.

Through his sources in college n with the help of her name, he was able to find out her mobile number. He called her once daily before sleeping though never spoke anything. Even after perfectly knowing that she was distraction he kept calling her. His Geet was a totally different person on calls. She spoke fluently not knowing who was on the other side n sometimes cursed too. Even the profanities in her soothing voice were like words of love. He called her only once so that she wouldn’t get too much pissed off n stopped taking the call altogether n he called from a private number. However if need arouse he was ready to use different numbers to contact her.

Call it his luck, she always picked her phone up and sometimes heard her roommates make fun of him, calling him ‘deewana’ which he was or mad, which again, he was. If the day was too fortunate for him, his sweet heart kept the phone aside without hanging up so that he got punishment for bugging her in form of high bills. As if that bothered him, it was actually a blessing. She forget to check her mob n he heard her talks with roommates and if she had kept the mob near, he a few times slept with her breathing lulling him, picturing her on his sheets, beside him.

Who could have thought that MSK’s whole day would go by in wait of that one moment when he heard the voice of a geeky girl who he had met merely twice? But she had that magic, perhaps nobody else could make it out apart from him. No other girl held that appeal to him any longer. If this was love, was it always so uncertain n immediate? When he saw her it was like his heart just knew hers n BAM! He smiled to himself most of the times, forgot about meetings, appointments. That was just the start he messed up his employees name, something that had never happened before. When he was sitting, he wanted to stand, when standing he wanted to dance or maybe run around announcing that something mushy was happening to him. How idiotic was that, and yet so immensely beautiful.

Dad, you called for me? Maan asked coming in.

His father’s study was the most intimidating place. Maan didn’t like being there. The walls were russet brown with shelves full of thick books. In middle was a huge mahogany table behind which sat the master of the Den. The smell of wood burning in the hearth nearly choked him when he was small. The study was always dark with just a magnificent, round lamp shinning above the table.

It gave him creeps. This was the place where they talked… business. This was the place where his father told him what edification he had to take, what he had to do, when he had to join his father’s business. Maan was never given a choice, he was commanded. Certainly, whatever his father chose for him was in his best interest only so he never complained. He respected him and acknowledged the fact that to reach heights of success you had to sacrifice a number of things. His father chose to sacrifice the heart n keep the head.

Yes. I have observing you lately. There is something on your mind, isn’t it?

He should have known. There was nothing that could be kept off his father’s notice. Have I failed you in any manner, dad?

No. But it’s clear you are losing focus. Are you in love?

Shit. I am not sure.

His dad didn’t even ask who the girl was. For a businessman especially at your station when you still have to make a mark, you can’t risk it. Just don’t deem this small success you have got permanent. It is nothing. I have put in years of my life. Your one wrong move n everything would be gone. Business grows every day, every second, son and there is no limit of its magnitude. There is no benchmark. Bed as many girls as you want, but forget about the idea of love. This isn’t the time for such imprudence. Your meeting point should be the top, everything else is a disruption. Do you understand?

Yes, Dad.

His father nodded. Very well, I always expect the best from my son. You can leave.

Maan didn’t call her for days and the emptiness grew in him.

His father wasn’t wrong. He had to believe that. What actually could he fight for too? He wasn’t sure about Geet; she didn’t even know that the insane guy who called her daily wasn’t a prankster but- But what? Who was he to her? Who was she to him? She was a part of his soul because otherwise he wouldn’t be agonized this much. Pain was really a measure of affection. It made you aware of your own self.

What was this relation? He didn’t know her. She was nothing. Yet she was everything. His day started with her name and ended at her thoughts. Business seemed meaningless when he couldn’t even hear her voice. His heart craved and cursed him. He wrote her name on top of pages, imagined her face on the blue prints.

This wasn’t the time though to lose focus. When he had taken the reigns of KC he had promised to make his father’s dreams his own. He couldn’t ditch him and Geet had to complete her studies too. She wasn’t going anywhere. As far as he knew she was way too shy to fall in love. If they were meant to be together like he thought then after fulfilling his father’s wishes he would come back to her and she would be there for him. He just needed three years. At this moment her not knowing him was relieving. He could never give her pain n ask her to forget him for three years. He would somehow live with her in his heart, turning her into his motivation. Once she had completed studies n he had reached that top spot he would go to her, make her fall in love with him n never be apart again.

One last time, he wanted to talk with the person who had become so much to him without her knowledge. He wanted to hear her melodious voice, something that would keep him going for the upcoming few years.

Hello. I know you aren’t going to say anything. She spoke in an irritated voice he had grown addicted too. Maan felt tears burning his eyes. How would he spend his days from now on without these calls?

Hey. Shocked at his response for the first time she fell silent. I won’t irk you from now on. Only wanted to hear your voice for the last time.

Strangely she asked. You going somewhere? Maan wasn’t sure if actually her voice got heavy.

Yeah, kind of. Few things are awaiting n I have to get done with them.

So why you never spoke before? Surely there was a pinch of complaint there.

Because he was selfish. He desired her but didn’t want to give her anything of him. In the end didn’t it prove the right decision? A sick part of him regretted not telling her, not being already involved with her too deep. She would have stopped him, not allowing him to let go of her.

Like the book, she would be his excuse.

Gosh, he had been an idiot to not hear his heart n now it was too late.

I am the guy who cornered you in college. He smiled. I hope you don’t get cornered like that by many people.

No, I don’t. She said in a low, almost sad voice. You were the only one.

I’ll miss you.

Before she could say anything else, he pressed the red button. Tears slid down from his eyes.

Letting go of your first love hurt like bitch. Finding your love in a manner n situation he had fucked with your entire being.

Maan opened the lock on the door.

Geet shifted from her cramped position on the floor. She didn’t realize that she had passed out on the floor. Due to the sudden movement, her stomach burned with a dull ache. She had been very sick lately. Apparent reason was Maan but she refused to admit that even to herself because she wasn’t allowed.

Upon hearing the sound of footsteps, she hurriedly positioned herself to not look so vulnerable. Maan had a weird tendency of knowing how she felt and she would be damned if he found out that she had been sulking all these days without him in her life.

The door opened.

What are you doing on the floor? His voice was so harsh it made her cringe; but the roughness in it nearly touched her physically making her hot at all the wrong-or right-places.

Just checking the smoothness of your expensive floor, seeing how it would feel fucking guys here.

Maan clenched his fists clearly provoked. Have some shame.

Geet laughed menacingly. Shame? What does that mean? I don’t feel anything like that and you should never expect pros to feel shame.

Maan walked closer and hauled her up not so gently. She loved it when he manhandled her. His jaw set and blazing eyes were a big turn on and how unsettling was that.

If that’s the case, love, then I am no better. You won’t be fucking any guy on this floor or anywhere else for that matter apart from me.

Maan pushed her face first into the wall and Geet was alarmed. Her breast pressed against the cold wall and his one hand slid to her hip. Images glowed before her eyes; of how good he could make her feel. Yet his touch was an injury and she would never be able to remove its mark. All the devils in hell knew she didn’t need any more memories to make this harder. No, she couldn’t fall weak.

I had sex with Shaan while you were in hospital, over and over again.

To her utter disbelief the corner of his mouth lifted. He pressed into her and she felt so suffocated trying to fight the sensations, his bulge pressed at the crevice between her butt cheeks. Even in his bandaged form Maan was a definition of strength and magnificence. If only she could just lean into his touch n tell him to take care of her, make everything alright. That she was his despite her disgusting past n that she loved- Geet turned her head. What in holy hell was she thinking? Should she confess all that, he would be no longer alive.

But his hand on her on belly, lips on shoulder n hips slowly and deliciously grating into hers made her see stars and forget everything.

Why are you telling me this? Because you don’t want me to touch you? You think am a fool, Geet? My touch makes you feel what no one else could. Accept it or not. You are only mine. I will make sure of it that you know it in every possible manner. His voice got lower, erotic. I hadn’t planned it this way, love. He slipped his hands into her top pulling her back a little and cupping her breasts in his palms. She sagged against him, taking labored breaths. But now I guess we’ll get down to SR before our marriage.

  4. Aww Maan stalker that was so so cute... Aww he introduced himself as her Romeo.. Just adorable... He was thinking about her 24x7 aww oh my god his dad is so money minded so selfish... Bed as many girls? Who in the sane mind advises that? Aww even though she was irritated with his calls she missed him... That was the mistake he just took her for granted... To be waiting for him for 3 yrs n life changed drastically for her... It did hurt Maan so much but he had to keep up his father's expectations... In the bargain he lost the innocent Geet...Geet now trying so hard to spite him to make him leave her... But Maan so adamant *i am proud of u maan* he saw through her false facade... She loves him she realized :D loving their cute n not so innocent banter ;)omg so sr before marriage waiting for that ;) but... Is geet pregnant? It seems like that.

  16. awesome update....the past & the present were soo different...geet changed from a shy , silent , innocent girl to a prostitute whose entire existence is changed due to fate....loved how maan was smitten by geet...he had to choose between his first love & his dad's dreams & expectations..how cruel can be fate that the girl he loved so much is with him now , but she is no longer that naive & innocent girl.....but still maan's love is intact....Loved how maan didn't believe geet's bullshits....hope maan knows about dev & geet's deal , & nothing can make them away from each other....once destiny played her cards & separated them , but hope this time they win & not let anything come between them....

Aweeee he loves her so much. ;'( n has been suffering all these years. I had a suspicion that the accident was not an accident but it was planned...now I think it was Maan's dads doings to remove the distraction from his son's way. Maan knows it.....Poor him he loves her so much had to let go of her. He must have been searching for her for years...finding her in that hotel was no coincidence he was there knowing that she would be there...he knew she had become a prostitute yet he looked for her n wanted her. Geet she had been so much its normal for her not to remember the college incident or relate it to Maan n she didnt see his face either. The present part was rough n hot. He will show his possessive love to her. Geet cant fight it. Will he marry her? Oh I want it so much. Loved the update, Waiting for the next. Wont mind adult content ;')
