BEZUBA, PART 26

~BEZUBA~

101 update on blog... Wohoooo..!!!

~PART 26~

Anxiously waiting for Maan Geet uselessly kept looking at her wrist watch. He had no time of coming back. Still she couldn’t believe he was in Delhi. Just like that. No call to inform, no coming home. He must have arrived today only and she knew how much he was dedicated towards his work so would have thought of getting it done the first thing.

Honestly she wouldn’t have cared or be worried so much that he was in town without her knowing if not for the look she had seen on his face at noon. He had appeared out of nowhere and disappeared the same way. She had headed towards KM immediately but he wasn’t here and since then she was waiting and waiting.

Anger was such a small thing of what she saw in his eyes, pain was colossal and there was… complaint. An emotion he hadn’t showed before. What had she done wrong? Was it her clothes or the party? She thought he wasn’t someone who would be bothered by such things.

All her thoughts flew out of the window when her eyes caught the subject they revolved around. She was seeing him after so long and till now couldn’t comprehend how he was so unreservedly handsome.

Maan stopped at her sight. He had delayed his arrival at home as much as he could to sort out his muddled thoughts and to get a grip on his anger and other emotions that he didn’t even want to name. But wait was something he couldn’t do any longer so giving a fuck to whatever would happen he came home. He needed to see her, if not kill that guy.

He found her pacing just at the entrance of the outhouse and his heart missed a beat. She hadn’t changed clothes still clad in the ones he had seen her in earlier. As her gaze locked with his and he saw her face blooming like a flower. She grinned, tears of joy reflecting beautifully in her eyes. Before his mind-paralyzed of her beauty-could gather some sense she threw herself in his arms. Air flew out of him, suitcase dropping from his hands and then there was peace. She held him tightly… and he did the same.

Folding strong arms around her waist he pulled her up against his body. Both their minds registered nothing but bliss feeling each other. While Geet was extremely happy seeing Maan for real, he was in another world. It felt so good to have her gathered against him. As his hands rapidly grazed up n down her back, he took deep breathes. Just her presence was so calming. And he was seeing her after an eon and damn he couldn’t believe she was happy seeing him. He felt like crying and laughing at same time.

Geet didn’t know she was being backed until she hit the wall. She didn’t care really because he was so close and that’s all mattered. If she could she would freeze them like that so they wouldn’t ever move and he never left. His mouth laid on her neck motionless, just fast breathes blowing her hairs softly. His palm that had been moving all over her back now rested calmly a notch above her hips. It was like they were assuring their hearts that the other half was there to make them complete. She pressed his head more into her neck raising her face up to give him space. Her nails came down to scrap the small hairs at his nape. She felt his first kiss on her neck. It was so small she had to be dreaming but as he kissed her sensitive skin again she sighed.

He rubbed his lips where they rested and slowly trailed a line lying soft pecks to her jaw from the base of her neck. His big palms in a silky glide rounder over her plump hips going below them to push her into him and then up. She raised her legs and wrapped them around his waist. It was automatic action to his probing. He stared long into her magnificent eyes that spoke so much he forgot everything else.

Kissing them close he pecked her forehead then her cheek. His hands languidly roamed over her thighs, rubbing, creating heat while he showered her face with umpteen kisses. It was something he had always craved of doing. To worship each bit of her beautiful face of which he didn’t seem to stop thinking about.

Something was unleashed and they both couldn’t stop it. She felt fireworks bursting under her skin wherever his hands and lips touched. She was unknowingly pressing herself more into his body where her legs rounded him. His lips stopped mere inches from hers and she opened her hazels. She looked into his eyes, unsurely, he was staring hard and then her eyes came down to his lips. Her tongue darted out to wet hers before she glanced into his eyes again. This moment would fade so soon she wouldn’t even know, so Geet did what she had always dreamed of.

She took chance. She kissed him.

As her lips met his, deep inside, he cried from relief. And no he didn’t push her away. He took his own sweet time in kissing her slowly, heatedly. After caressing the softest thing in world that were her lips, sucking and nipping, his tongue probed them open and entered her wet heat. She shuddered and he pulled her up again lest she fell off and the passion seized. She responded naively doing nothing and letting him taste her. His words were surprising, when he said out of nowhere against her lips. Who was that guy? She tried to process that sentence but couldn’t, her mind was so fogged.

He had totally worn her out with his passion. He stepped back unwillingly and slowly let go of her. Her body slid down his hand and he took extra seconds in feeling her up.

Blinking off the haze, she found her top had ridden up that’s why his hand felt so hot. She pulled it down to cover her waist. He walked in and she followed wiping her swollen lips and tucking wayward hairs behind ears. She couldn’t wipe the flush on her skin though and that sexy yet innocent look in her eyes. She was positively dazed.

From inside she felt anew, loved. She blushed and then feared how he would react. Would he scold her for kissing him? Or regret their special moment? Shut himself up again? No she didn’t wish that. Not after what had transpired between them.

Resting the suitcase down, he turned around with the same question a little less intensely this time. Who was that guy?

She titled her head, absolutely confused. *What guy?*

His eyes strayed down her body, her naked images from bathroom flashing, and then there was that dazed look in her eyes. He diverted his gaze not able to watch her without doing anything. The guy you were dancing with. Who was he?

*Armaan? He is a friend. Kyu?*

Armaan the guy who gifted you roses?

Geet’s eyes rounded opening wide. *That was more than two years ago. You still remember?*

Maan looked her in eyes- Of course, I remember it clearly. Why wouldn’t I?

*Nahi. I just didn’t think you would be that attentive.* She signed sadly.

That guy… stay away from him. He ragged you right? I don’t think he is any good.

When he again looked at her, she was smiling. She pressed her lips together and Maan frowned. *I think he is very nice. Armaan is a good friend of mine.* She told innocently, smirking evilly inside.

Maan was enraged, his chest burned. How do you know that? He snapped then shut his mouth. God, what was wrong with him?

*I know because he is my friend.*

Maan with gritted teeth- Good.

*What were you doing at Akshay Veerji’s house?* Geet asked.

I had gone for some business matter. Why you were there and why are you calling him Veerji?

*He is Armaan’s cousin na. We both are doing internship in his company only. His company recruits interns from our college. I got short listed.*

That was salt on already sour wound. She was doing internship again with that Armaan and she called his cousin Veerji. Maan wanted to hit something. I am exhausted, will be in my room.

He left and Geet did a long-happy dance.

He was jealous and that made her feel all giddy-tickly. Nothing felt better than being jealous over. Last time he gave flowers when Armaan did the same. This time he should dance with her. She sighed dreamily, knowing that wasn’t going happen but what was the harm in fantasying? Although, she had gotten something far better than just a dance. She flushed again thinking about the kiss, how he had pushed her against the wall, how she had wrapped her legs around him. She couldn’t wait to tell Dadimaa.

Maan lay on the bed lost in their kiss. He replayed the sequence again n again in his mind. She was hot wax under his fingers. He could mould her the way he wanted but in return she would burn him. That was fair exchange. Only it wasn’t fair at all, to her. How he could slip like that? He had been away for long and then seeing her with someone else served as the ultimate hit on his control. He realized what he was losing. Maan had never seen a future with her, not once considered it. He was her culprit and deserved punishment not her. But now- he felt selfish just by imagining them together. Such a sick person he was. She was already in too deep. He should not pull her closer instead of shoving her away.

He didn’t have the strength anymore. Just a few days more, he told himself. So what if she was dancing with someone, so what if she liked him. She had all right to find the right partner and go far-far away where not even his shadow would be able to touch her.

His door was knocked before Geet stepped in, dressed in her cute night dress that consisted of white kurti and pink patiyala. Some things never changed. He knew she had come to ask for food.

*Aap movie dekhenge?*

Maan was taken aback. She had seen him lying uselessly on bed so he couldn’t pull his usual busy card. Was he happy that he didn’t have an excuse? Swinging his legs down the bed, Maan asked. Which movie?

Stunned with the view of his bare chest, she went into momentary coma. Simi would never get this view, she thought ecstatically. Geet. She snapped back from her dream world and showed him the dvd. Godzilla? You want me to watch that? She nodded and signed. *Pinky gave me this. I don’t want to see alone.*

Maan shook his head and stood up shrugging into a vest to hide himself from her searing gaze. In living room, he inserted the DVD in player while Geet brought popcorn and propped herself on the couch. Ready? Her big grin was green signal. He settled besides her pressing the play button. Movie started and it was far more fun than he had assumed. Actually he was confused whether to see his wife or the TV. She was so involved in the movie, her expressions changed with situations on tube and she jumped and laughed at various instances.

At one point, Geet was holding her breath as the elevators came down and the door was about to open certainly with loads of big-toothed monsters on other side. He couldn’t help himself screaming out loud in her ear like it was end of the world. Jumping out of her skin, she held her chest, popcorns flying in air from her hands. Maan laughed winking and she glared attacking him with a popcorn he popped it in his mouth, chewing it deliciously.

The couch before television was two seated and there wasn’t much space for both of them to sit very far. Every once in a while their legs brushed or hands hit, electrocuting both of them. For her it was a dream-come-true, she hadn’t expected him to say to her movie proposition, for Maan it was simply the best couple of hours in his life that had nothing good in it.

Finally, the movie came to end, breaking their hearts. He was putting the DVD back in cover. You know there is another Godzilla movie that has released? She looked up from where she was collecting popcorns scattered over the carpet. If… you want, we could go watch it tomorrow. She nodded rapidly not believing her ears.

Next morning, when Maan woke up his mind was filled of all goody-goody stuff. After like ages he witnessed the first rays of sun with a smile on his face. He came downstairs, expecting to find Geet in the kitchen and running to him asking if she should serve the breakfast. So it was a shock when he didn’t find her there. She wasn’t in her room too. He asked the servant where she was and he told that she had already left for college. That was so unlike her.

Geet never left without informing him if he was home. He noticed that she didn’t enquire anything about his stay abroad or when he came back to Delhi, she didn’t even ask if he’d had dinner last night. The creepy feeling he got was really unsettling.

Later in the day, Maan parked his car outside her college at the time when she had asked him to come. She came out and approached his car. Geet.Armaan jogged to her. Tu kaha jaa rai hai itni jaldi? Tune bola tha aaj tu humare saath kush k ghar chalegi.

*I am sorry. Par kuch zaroori kaam aa gaya.*

Armaan whinned- Zaroori kaam toh aate rahenge, chal na.

*Mai baad me kabhi chalungi.* She made a puppy face n Maan was fuming inside the car. Why she had to plead him for going somewhere, that too with her husband?

That face seemed to work on Armaan. He okayed with a smile and left, which was good because one more second and Maan would have come out and punched him pushing Geet in the car. When she stepped into the car, atmosphere was hot. She understood after sometime why he was sitting with fat face.

*That was Armaan.* She signed and saw his face turning greener. She loved that greenery but didn’t want to trouble him more. *He is just a friend.* She told and had the guts to ruffle MSK hairs like he was a kid. Maan looked at her shell shocked and she combed his hairs back. Her touch made his stomach clench with need.
