BEAUTIFULLY FLAWED, Prologue

PROLOGUE

Dark night, scary, mysterious. No one understands n so they fear. Its human nature, what's unknown... in all probability is dangerous. But shadow if threat, is a blessing too. The predator comes out in darkness to satisfy his hunger while the feeble victim with his vulnerability hides in the same abyss of darkness.

When we, the well of human beings sleep in the safety of thick walls, outside there is much happening yet we feign ignorance 'cause of the belief that everything going on under the moon is 'probably' fatal but dirty 'for sure'.

Perhaps the saying is right; ignorance is bliss, though not everyone gets to float in this bliss. Cold hard money, doesn't let all souls sleep at night, some come out after the fall of dusk to continue what's called life, to sell what they have even if it mean, souls selling soul, sometimes of others n sometimes their own.

She ran out of the room, breath shallow n slight fear racing underneath the skin.

Come back here. The voice called from behind with the sound of chains dragging n being thrown around.

But she was already far n running for her life. Despite the high heels n tight dress, the rush of adrenaline kept her going after all the fear of death could make a person in coma run a marathon.

Her head turned back to see if the terror was still behind. The corridor was empty with no one in sight yet she had this feeling that it won't be same for long. She knew he would soon be behind her to hunt, to kill. Running made her chance for survival skimpy if caught.

Looking ahead she found a man, nearly 26 dressed sprucely in formals that complimented the fine interiors of the hotel they were in. She instantly identified who he was, her potential opportunity for escape. She fell in step with her passport to freedom.

Don't look behind. She said looping her arm with the man's. Keep walking.

The man did as directed n they came out of the grand hotel. They reached a car which apparently belonged to the man who made her exit possible. It was a black sedan, sleek n sexy. She almost whistled then restraining herself quickly slipped into the passenger seat.

Looking at the entrance she found the man thirsty for her blood, looking here n there. But she was inside the car away from his vision, safe, alive n without a single bruise. How more lucky could she get? She mentally patted herself for getting out from the clutches of that huge man.

The car rode out of the hotel parking lot n she finally took in a relief breath, satiating her lungs with the much needed oxygen. Closing her eyes she laid her head back on the comfy seat that was when she remembered she was in car, with a stranger, on a deserted road... at 1 am.

On turning her head she found the man-whose face was just a shadow in dark, driving the car like nothing happened. Like there was no girl there who practically threw herself at him n was now riding in his car.

So where are we going? She asked when he should be the one asking her where she wanted to go. Couldn't she expect some manners from a man dressed in a suit riding a sedan.

Home. The man answered giving her a shrug.

God forbid... his voice was like a smooth pearl rolling on soft velvet. She shook her head to make her thoughts more focused.

Home? I don't remember telling you my address? She tried to be as polite as possible; after all he was her saviour. Right? Sure she was not the typical damsel in distress but he didn't know that so supposedly he should be playing the knight in shining armour or maybe he figured out who she was.

I am taking you to my home.

Yeah right. She thought sarcatically then said aloud. No I can't come. Refusing him straight forward was the best choice.

You have to.

Don't tell me I ran from a psycho to bump into another one. Her mind wondered.
What if I don't want to?

Why not?

Gosh! These men. Look I can't come with you because I can't have sex right now. I am exhausted so I hope you won't mind leaving me at some place where I could get a taxi.

I am not taking you for sex. Just rest at my home for the night, you can leave in the morning. You won't be getting any taxi at
this hour anyway.

Got to be kidding me. Given the circumstances, no man would hesitate in polluting even a virgin nun. But she didn't say anything he was indeed right there won't be any taxi available so she decided to sit n wait.

She looked forward towards the never ending road while the car kept rolling on the ground n she didn't realise when it lulled her tired form to sleep.

Sooo how was it??? Any guesses who the two persons areLOL
Anyways I have experimented with the my title style n hope its good enough.

I am not giving a character sketch because every character in this FF has a sort of secrecy attached to them n I don't want to kill the suspenseWink

For those who wanted khumaari 2, sorry... but m not sure about its track rite nw damn confused... n it won't be fair to the beauty n beast if I will start their story without setting my mind clear.

As for BF, the background of this story is a bit on the serious side so I will try to write it in a way that it doesn't get boring for you all... now I am finishing my blabber so u could press that blue like n give me nice comments.
